Obituary for Judith Grace Hogsett
April 17, 1948 – August 23, 2025
Judith “Judi” Grace (Johnson) Hogsett, 77, of Roeland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Judi was the daughter of Arthur Stewart Johnson and Grace M. Braun. She graduated from Southeast [Southwest] High School in Kansas City, MO. On February 1, 1969, she married the love of her life, Dennis Hogsett. Together they shared 56 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and resilience, creating a home where family always came first.
Over the years, Judi worked at Hallmark Cards, ran her own in-home daycare and cleaning business, and later was employed at National Credit Services (NCSC) and Risk Management Alternatives (RMA). She was happiest when baking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She also cherished the simple pleasures of life — savoring her morning French vanilla cappuccino outdoors, taking in what nature had to share.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ruth, and her infant son, Alan Lee. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; her son, Brian (Jackie); her grandchildren, Corey, Courtney, and Blane; and her great-granddaughter, Bellamy.
Judi will be remembered for her nurturing heart, her steady strength, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her love and devotion to family will live on through the generations she cherished so deeply https://www.reflectionsmemorialservices.com/obituaries/judith-hogsett/#!/Obituary
