CAPT. JAMES CRENSHAW U.S. Air Force, Retired James, 61, beloved husband, father, and grandpa passed away Dec. 8, 2010. Our dear father in heaven embraced and took him in loving arms, after a courageous 12 month battle of brain cancer. He was born in Kansas City, Feb. 11, 1949, to Virgil and Virginia Crenshaw. He graduated from Southwest high school in Kansas City, 1967. Jim received his bachelors degree in business and psychology at Columbia University in Columbia, Mo. He served in the U.S. Air Force and honorably discharged, he became a Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph, husband of Mary, Church in Las Vegas. Jim was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chief's and loved 60's music. He was a proud owner of a 1982 DeLorean and was featured in the Minot, N.D., local newspaper during his assignment there. He worked as a manager for Blockbuster Video as well, here in Las Vegas. Jim will be missed deeply by his family and friend's and will cherish their memories of his positive and caring attitude, sense of humor, and zest for life. Jim loved to play Santa, and even brought joy to the children of the Trauma Center at UMC in Las Vegas. Jim married his life long love Angel (mama dear) in Nov. 27, 1971. He has two daughters, Cheryl A. Puckoris and her husband Adam, Jennifer A. Moreira and her husband Leo. He is survived by the loves of his life, his eight grandchildren, Joshua, Victoria, Adam Jr., Andrew, Brandon, Ryan, April and baby Norajane Grace. He is also survived by his only brother, Ronnie Crenshaw; brothers-in-law, Eddie and Chiqui Parial; and not to forget his beloved mother and father in laws, Buddy and Jean Parial.
