I met Tom our sophomore year of high school.  We soon developed a close bond as friends that continued until his death at age 39.

Over the years we enjoyed a lot of good times together.

Tom had the misfortune of being a juvenile onset diabetic.  I feel some guilt that I didn’t realize until years later the long-term debilitating effects of insulin on your body.  He died way too young.

Tommy Agnew, we go way back to the Marlborough Elementary School days. I had a huge crush on Tom and to me he always looked the same as this picture with a little twinkle in his eyes and a warm smile. He was a very sweet and kind man. My deepest sympathy goes to his family and I am so sad to hear of his passing. Goodbye Tommy, your loving friend Mary Dysart Burrell

Tom Agnew and I go back to Marlborough School, like some of you have already posted. He was always kind, with a smile on his face, and we would reminse about going through grade school together. So sorry to hear this news. May Tom REST IN PEACE. Cheryl Bordy

I’m part of the Marlborough school class with Tommy Agnew. We were good friends in school and even though we didn’t see much of each other after elementary school, he’s someone I think of when I think about my years there.  Tommy was always such a genuinely nice nice guy.  Sad to be reminded of his passing.
