Gus Girard was one of my best friends. Everybody liked Gus. I was fortunate to know him. We both graduated from St. Elizabeth 8th grade and Southwest High School together. We were in a rock and roll band together called The Silencers. Gus was an excellent drummer! Gus Girard was truly a gentleman.
