I worked with John in the Good Time Rebellion and can say that his positive impact on the Kansas City music scene cannot be understated. God Speed John

The Dunbars and Pollards were neighbors on Oak. John and I both played accordion. It was popular in the 50's and parents thought their little darlings would eventually be on Lawrence Welk. I ditched mine and took up drums while John transitioned to keyboards. Music was his passion. We jammed together  occasionally and whenever we would run in to each other as adults the conversation was all about music. Keep rockin John.

I'm sad to hear of John's passing. He was such a sweet and talented guy - and with such cool hair. We had some classes together, and I remember lots of conversations about music and whatever was going on. Rock on, John. : )
